Via Romen Trio

Traditional and modern Romany (Gypsy) Music from around the world, famous Gypsy classics and original compositions influenced by Romany, Jewish, and Russian traditions and enriched by Latin and Jazz cultures. 

Introducing VIA ROMEN TRIO - a unique sound that wins the hearts of everyone – young and old. Their music is romantic, beautiful, lyrical, fascinating…and always captivating. It will make every event very special and unforgettable!
Their art, rooted in Gypsy/Jewish tradition, and enriched by Jazz, Flamenco and Tango cultures, enchant audiences with intricate improvisations, spell binding rhythms, and beautiful melodies. Their music is World class virtuoso acoustic guitar, violin and accordion mix performed in modern styles with improvisations similar in some ways to those of Django Reinhardt, Paco de Lucia or Jean-Luke Ponty. Their music would also please fans of Astor Piazzolla and Gypsy Kings. Also their approach to selected covers is very unique.
Their music applies to much wider then classical audience, who may have great appreciation to their virtuosity, tone, nuances, or admire trio’s original compositions.

Lovers of tango, flamenco and samba would love their music for it's emotions and temperament, also jazz aficionados would admire the mastery of their solos.

Via Romen Trio consists of

One of the most prominent Russian seven-string guitar player,
- Vadim Kolpakov (seven-string acoustic-classical guitar),
- Arkadiy Gips (violin) - virtuoso, - both impressed the pop icon Madonna so much that she invited them to join her on the 2008-2009 Sticky and Sweet World tour: 
and established accordion virtuoso - Sergiu Popa.

The Via Romen TRIO can perform in many settings including: Small intimate private events, festivals, college programs, as well as large stage productions.
